We are continuing to support businesses during the closure of Brentwood High Street to traffic. On Monday 15 September, Cadent commenced work to replace the metal gas pipes, and Essex Highways are now replacing the granite setts. The road is closed to traffic during this period, with diversions in place for six weeks. Car parking facilities are operating as normal.

There is extra signage and advertising in the High Street, along with dedicated information pages on our website, plus social media posts featuring our businesses. We have secured press coverage and recently welcomed BBC Essex (pictured above) to the High Street for a special story promoting businesses.

Please email us on brentwoodconnected@brentwood.gov.uk if you need extra support.

If you were unable to attend our Members’ Annual Event, earlier this month, you can watch our 2024/25 highlights presentation and catch up on what was discussed here.

Feedback from BID members is integral to what we do and our decisions are business-led. Since the meeting, we’ve set up a BID Member Ideas page on our website to make it even easier for you to get in touch with us about the activities, events and initiatives you think will enhance our four key themes.
