We start the festive season on Saturday 22 November with Lighting Up Brentwood, in partnership with Brentwood Borough Council. Brentwood High Street will be closed to traffic from 8am-8pm. Find more details about the road closure here.

The Ingatestone Festive Fair takes place on Sunday 7 December (12-6pm) in and around the High Street with market stalls and live music at The Bell, then it’s Festive Shenfield on Sunday 14 December (12-6pm). There is a small road closure in Friars Avenue during this event. Find more details about the road closure here.

Food, drink, live music, walkabout acts, market stalls, free face painting and Santa’s Grotto at each event.

The Giant Christmas Bauble will be back in Brentwood High Street!

The Christmas Toy Trail returns to Ingatestone High Street for the Ingatestone Festive Fair, and then moves to Hutton Road from Tuesday 9 December until Festive Shenfield!

This month, we decorated Brentwood and Shenfield High Streets with poppy boards in advance of Remembrance Sunday.  

Thanks to Brentwood School, who designed the extra boards.

Our Halloween events in Brentwood, Shenfield and Ingatestone attracted thousands of people to our High Streets to enjoy trails, spooky activities and discover our businesses.  Thank you to everyone who supported the event, hosted activities, gave out treats and dressed up!

12 DAYS OF GIVING!

The local teams at Beresfords are carrying out a variety of charitable acts in our community this Christmas, including volunteering, community clean up events and donations. They’re collaborating with Anglo European School and Brentwood Foodbank to spread some kindness.

If you would like to get involved, the Brentwood, Shenfield and Ingatestone offices are accepting donations for Brentwood Foodbank until Friday 5 December.
