Important information about the partial closure of Friars Avenue to traffic on Sunday 14 December for Festive Shenfield 2025.
Brentwood Connected Business Improvement District (BID) are pleased to announce that Festive Shenfield will take place on Sunday 14 December 2025 from 12pm until 6pm. Hutton Road will be open to traffic with a small road closure in place at the top of Friars Avenue, closing off the turning circle for the stage.
The focus of this event will be around family-friendly live music and entertainment to encourage dwell time. This is a fantastic day of celebrations to bring together residents and new visitors to Shenfield. There will be live music locations across the high street along with walkabout acts, Santa’s Grotto and free face painting. Brentwood Connected would encourage businesses to open on 14 December, as we are expecting higher than usual Sunday footfall.
