Brentwood Art Trail Walk, Talk & Create at Merrymeade Country Park

Merrymeade House, Merrymeade Chase, Brentwood, CM15 9FE

Brentwood Art Trail Walk, Talk & Create at Merrymeade Country Park

Join us for one of our Walk, Talk & Create events, with Sue and Lindsay from Create Yourself Calm. Sue and Lindsay are an art teacher (Sue) and counsellor (Lindsay) who share a passion for the crossover between creativity and self-care. They aim to help you make the most of your 'me-time', with a special focus in this session on art and mindfulness - what is a mindful walk? We will then create a collage map recreating the walk.

We'll meet at Merrymeade House (Merrymeade Chase CM15 9FE) and go for a short walk and talk around Merrymeade Country Park, enjoying the location, sights and sounds and discussing mindfulness.

At approximately 11.15am, we'll head back to Merrymeade House for refreshments at Merrymeade Tea Rooms where we have a space reserved for us. You'll receive a complimentary drink as part of the session, but other food/drink will be available.

You'll then get creative outside (weather dependent) and you'll have the opportunity to recreate your walk in a fun way using different collage materials to produce a creative map.

This session is open to beginners and more experienced creatives. All materials will be provided. We aim to give you a brief insight to what Create Yourself Calm can offer, and Sue and Lindsay look forward to you joining us.
